Linda S. Martin worked part-time at Fairfield South Elementary School doing interventions with 1st-4th graders. She has been trained in a variety of intervention programs such as LIPS, Dibels, PALS, and Sound Partners as well as attending workshops for improving test scores, intervention strategies, etc. She is the mother of 5 children, 3 of whom she homeschooled and all of whom are college graduates. Her goal for LIFeLearning is to not only help each student work to their full potential but to develop their self-esteem and help them come to believe that Learning Is Fun!

Nikki Hendel currently works as a Title 1 Reading Specialist. Prior to this, she worked at Fairfield South Elementary School as both an Intervention Specialist  and a long-term sub. She has a Masters Degree in elementary education as well as her undergraduate degree in psychology and a Reading Endorsement. She loves working with the younger students and makes learning a fun experience.

Gene K. Martin has worked as a systems engineer for several large firms including G.E. and International Paper. He has been able to accomplish his goal of being a math teacher by tutoring several high school and college students over the years. He is the head of our math program here at LIFeLearning where he tutors one-on-one and also teaches small group sessions to students to review math concepts before taking major exams.

Rosé Ture joined our LIFeLearning staff in November of 2012. She has a lengthy background of tutoring children, and has been doing interventions   for the past 15 years. She is trained in a variety of interventions including Dibels, Pals, Keep on Reading, and several math tutorials as well. She is an Intervention Specialist in the Fairfield School District working with students in Kindergarten. She has also worked with students in grades 1 through 4 in both reading and math. According to Rosé, "I really enjoy teaching skills in reading since reading is one of my passions, and I hope I can develop that passion in my students as well."


Allison Hardwick is a third grade teacher at Fairfield South Elementary School and the newest member to join us at LIFeLearning Tutoring. She is the mother of three boys, enjoys working with students, and is an amazing teacher.

Nancy Fries taught in the Fairfield School District until she retired several years ago. She began teaching 7th grade math, and then became a third grade teacher at Fairfield South. She continues to substitute in the district as well as tutor here at LIFeLearning.
