As parents of an in-coming 4th grader we'd like to give a tremendous plug and endorsement to LIFeLearning Tutoring. Our son has had some struggles with reading since Kindergarten. He participated in the Reading Center intervention program during part of 1st grade, during 2nd grade, and part of 3rd grade. During a school conference we asked his homeroom teacher and reading specialist what more we could do. They both highly recommended LIFeLearning Tutoring. Our son started working there one hour per week and then two hours during the summer between his 2nd and 3rd grade years. His tutor worked closely with his teachers to track his progress and struggles. She was always able to tell us exactly what he had worked on that week or even that day! Our son has improved significantly. His grades are all A's and B's, his DIBELS scores greatly improved, and he passed the 3rd grade OAT the first time around!! Not only have we seen remarkable results...our son LOVES going to tutoring. We will be the first ones to tell everyone we know about LIFeLearning Tutoring.

We have been with LIFeLearning Tutoring since my daughter was in 3rd grade. She is now an 8th grader. We found LIFeLearning after a referral from my daughter's teacher. Up until then every night was a struggle and a battle for hours between my daughter and me over homework. We had her tested at one of the popular learning centers and found them to be too expensive for our budget. After finding LIFeLearning Tutoring, my daughter and I do not have those homework battles, and her grades have improved. I love LIFeLearning Tutoring. It was and is the BEST investment for my daughter and me.

My daughter has been struggling with reading fluency and comprehension for several years, and it takes her a little while longer to finish her homework or classroom assignments. This makes both her and I frustrated. Her tutor at LIFeLearning Tutoring always takes the time to read with my daughter and explain to her how to better understand what she has read. The tutor has also helped her prepare for tests by showing her various test-taking skills as well as giving her pointers to help her in the classroom. She is beginning her third year of tutoring and looks forward to going every week!

We are very fortunate to have found LIFeLearning. Mrs. Linda Martin genuinely cares about her students. She loves to see them learn and grow. She tailors our daughter's sessions specifically for her and has given us extra lessons to work on at home. When we first started the tutoring lessons, our daughter struggled with reading and math. With the help of her teachers and Mrs. Martin, our daughter is now excelling in school. She is reading above her grade level and testing at advanced levels.
